Results Day 1 ready: Rain and Thunder

News - by Jan Kocbach, 30 July 2008 10:00 PM

The results from the first race in Nordvestgaloppen are now ready. You will find the results in the Events section.

The competitors were greated by wonderful, warm weather - and many of the runners who came early to Voss had unforgettable mountain hikes with view to the Fjords around Voss.

The surprise was however huge when a big thunderstorm with hail of more than diameter 1 cm suddenly appeared about one third into the startfield. The rain and thunder continued for more than an hour - but still most competitors seemed happy with the first day of Nordvestgaloppen 2008.

994 participants from 22 countries!
